At TJ's we stock abu reels
Well winter came and went and the takings from our new shop were once again down but up on the previous year which has made us feel that getting out of the market and setting up here by sports direct was a good move.
We shall keep a range of sea fishing tackle along with a range of coarse/carp and match fishing tackle. We shall stock a number of lower priced rods and reels and some accessories like tripods, scales and brollies etc. We shall try to please everyone with both our range of stock and our prices and hope that everyone will repay us with their custom and loyalty. It's hard to take when you do customers favours and save them lots of pennies and the only time you see them is when you have got a giveaway item for them. The parking bays the council have placed across the road from the shop have been a great help and customers can now park and come in and look around without stressing over a possible parking ticket. We give every single junior angler that comes into our shop in truro road a 10% discount off everything they buy to try to encourage them to really get into the sport of angling for years to come.
I am also delighted to say that the loyalty programme we started just before cov-id 19 is proving to be popular - and why not when it saves you so much money. If your not already part of the scheme just apply by email to [email protected] and i will get the form to you to get you started its then up to you what discounts you get by what you spend.
We started in january with the backing from the national lottery a new sea angling club called the saint austell sea angling club(sasac) but due to cov-id 19 all meetings and competitions have had to be cancelled. It is back up and running for the creating of new club records only until the end of the year. This years membership fees will be for next year.
The postage is free and the products you order will reach you within a few working days.
Joe Hobbs has been a serious sea angler for more than 40 years and has the experience to judge which products are likely to help other anglers catch fish both from the shore and from a boat.
Joe married Trish, a Plymouth lady who also enjoys fishing, in April 2015. Together, they decided to start an angling business to help make the sport and pastime more affordable to everyone from the least experienced to the most experienced.
Joe and Trish usually join the well-known ECC Ports Sea Angling Club in Par, and are both personal members of the National Federation of Sea Anglers (NFSA).
Trish and Joe are retired and semi-retired respectively so they see themselves spending many hours in the future enjoying their sport. We are still waiting for that to happen but with improving weather and more importantly improving health we may not be too far away from that happening. We hope to help many others do the same by saving them precious pennies.
